-
I'm trying to connect to the internet on one of my computer's (not wireless) and i plugged in the cord from my modem to the back of the computer, and it doesn't connect. I've enabled the local internet connection, and I'm kind of stuck, since it wont work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Answer:
There could be many issues. What port are you plugging into the modem and what port on the PC. sounds stupid but many people hook up the wrong cables. Your easiest fix is to call your internet provider. They can generally walk you through hooking things up correctly and setting the software.
