I'm setting up a switch for 4 computer to communicate with each other two are using windows xp one is using windows 2000 professional and the server is running Windows 2003 server OS with this work for the computer using Windows 2000 professional OS??

Yes a standard switchwill allow all of them to work, just remember to put all of them in same domain or workgroup
They should all work so long as they are on the same subnet and the firewall on those systems allow the communications.
