How To Test A Pc Speed?

How/where can I test my internet speed?

  • I have had Comcast for a long time. I usually have no problems with anything. I just changed accounts like a week ago and the internet seems likes it is taking forever...some times pages like Yahoo will not even load. I have to close firefox and start again. I am using a Linksys wireless router (my desktop is ethernet) and the pc upstairs is wireless and that is slow too.. They gave me a different modem this time. Is there somewhere to tweak this or to run a test? the only tests for comcast I can find is a speed test and that is 14.32 down...I forget what up was.. Any ideas would be appreciated...I hate slow computers! Oh and I didn't change the internet package when I resigned with Comcast. Thanks
