How do i set up my netgear wireless router wnr1000 with a cable modem?

Answer:
By default, you don't have to do anything. It will successfully connect to your Cable modem by just plugging it in correctly. Turn off all devices. Now, plug a computer into the router, and the router into the modem. Power them on modem first, then router, then computer. You should now be connected. If you want to get more advanced, like enabling the wireless features, you'll have to read the manual that came with it.
