i have a ADSL modem with static ip configured. Nat is configured on the modem to allow access to http service. I need to access the site from the LAN using its public ip. The site does not open if the lan ip gateway modem's lan ip but Site is opening from WAN.

Answer:
Sounds like it should work. One problem that could lead to this is if the static IP on the server is on a different network than the other PC's on the lan(and i''m not talking about the public IP address assigned to the router), but the private IP address of the Actual server.
