Can i use a usb modem with my ps3 for an internet connection?

If i have a usb internet modem that i can only connect to i computer, how do i use the internet on 2 computers?

  Short Answer: You don't. Long Answer: Some modems do offer support via USB connection (instead of the standard Ethernet Connection). An Ethernet cord is the industry standard for high speed connection. Now, to use multiple connections you need to purchase a router. However, as previously said since Ethernet is the standard, all routers will only work via Ethernet cords. Now, some company somewhere may have created a router that allows connection via USB instead of Ethernet, but I have never seen one of these and I would imagine they would be nearly impossible to find. If you do not have an ethernet port on your PC, you should go to www.newegg.com and buy an Ethernet Card (sometimes called a Network Interface Card). They will probably run around 10$ and take about 10 minutes to install. You will then also need 3 Ethernet cords, a router, and 2 PC's. The basic setup will be as follows: 1.) Connect Modem as instructed by ISP 2.) Connect Modem to Router Via Ethernet cable 3.) Connect Router to PC1 Via Ethernet Cable 4.) Connect Router to PC2 Via Ethernet Cable
