How do you fix ipod wifi?

• Whenever I try to connect to my wifi or sometimes other wifi, it says Unable to connect. I type in the right password and i still get the same thing. even when wifi security is disabled it doesn't work. then i wait a month and it gets connected. I am using the latest 4th gen firmware. My ipod is jail broken, but it didn't work before that either. How can i fix this ? i am using a cisco-linksys router.

  Not real sure on how to fix it but I know you should've never jail broken it until your apple care warranty runs out. I have an iPod and have had that same problem. Go to settings. Tap networks or wifi Tap the connection you want and make sure your wifi is on and your airplane mode is off. Once you have selected your wifi connection and a check mark appears next to it tap the blue arrow next to the connection name and then a screen should pop up and from there you cann try boot static or one of the three shOwn there. And make sure it shows the ip address that is very important and if none of that helps then go to your wireless router and make sure all of the lights are green and the router itself is on.if none of your devices can connect then reset the router by simply turning it off and then back on. And make sure all of the green lights come on and then if one is red or orange then you have a differant problem. I myself currently have an Internet problem I need help with.
