How do you unzip a compressed file?

How can I save two copies of a file automatically over a network?

  • I want to set up a shared folder on my laptop (windows 7) that whenever files in it are altered it saves a copy to another folder on another computer (windows XP) that is connected through my home network The files are fixed in their locations, meaning I can't create a new folder on a server or anything, it has to be C:\~~~\this comp\Alorra. saving files into C:\~~~\that comp\Alorra And it needs to work both ways so that both computers can alter files and have the file be updated on the other system. I've tried using the windows backup programs and that works except that it puts it into a compressed format and I would have to unzip the file every time I went to use it. (which wastes time) BTW, it really only needs to copy files once a day unless otherwise specified. (I could do it by hand in that case...) I just want to make it simple...
