Trouble With Blu-Ray Player?

Netflix pic quality lower on Bluray player and tv?

  • For a few months I've been watching Netflix through our LG Bluray player with no issue. If HD was available for what I was watching it would play in HD no issue. Very rarely would it ever pause to buffer. For about a month now I've been watching Netflix through my Samsung Internet@TV app on my new tv. That worked just as well as through the LG. My Xbox360 could also play in HD with no issue. Now about a week or two ago the quality went awful. I still get HD on my Windows laptop and my iMac, but the quality on the TV, Xbox and Bluray player are below the halfway point, and they pause to buffer regularly. I do have a new DLink router, but I didn't notice any change for the first couple weeks I had it. If it's a router issue I have no idea what settings to change. Sounds like a router issue. Any help or advice? Thanks! Samsung tv is an LN46C670 Router is a DLink DIR-601 Bluray player is an LG BD390 ISP is Comcast, we have performance internet which should give us up to 12Mbps I think. TV and Xbox are connected through Ethernet, and the Bluray player is connected via Wi-fi.
