Why is Ps3 internet not working?

PS3 and Computer Internet help!?

• Ok, so 2 days ago I was playing PS3 online PERFECT with my friends and the upstairs computer was working and all of asudden our WHOLE internet shut down. The computers (we have 2), my PS3 and the downstairs TV. I found out my brother put his bottle on the box or dvr whatever you want to call it and it leaked and fried it all. So my mom got us a new box and we hooked it up. The downstairs computer is working perfectly fine thats what im on now. But the upstairs one isnt and nor my ps3. I put in my WEP key for my ps3 but it said IP address timed out and WEP key may not be correct when it used to work all the time and i tried it 3 times so i know there wasnt a error in my typing. We have the same modem though. If anyone could please find me the solution to my problem i will choose you for the best answer. Thanks yahoo. P.S. I use wireless for my ps3 and its up in the 3rd floor and my modems in the basement. Thanks.

  Wireless....... I dont like it, but you say the modems in the basement, Ok you may want to make sure that you are using the correct SSID (The Name of the network). aslo are the two computers Wired or wireless, if they are wired then wire your ps3, if they are wireless i dont know what to tell you, Make sure you have a router because thats what makes Internet connection wireless. but your best bet is to wire you ps3 to the modem or to the new router you mom Bought.
