How do I connect iTunes to MSN?

Computer wont connect to the internet ?

• Okay I have an acer aspire one and it won't connect to the internet but it will let me download music from itunes, it just won't let me go to any websites like Facebook, Google, tumblr, MSN, ect. It doesn't even say that it can't connect, alls it does is say that internet explorer is not responding. Yet it'll still let me use inside programs that need internet access. What could be causing this ? And what should I do ? I don't have money for geeksquad or anything of that sort .

  Since Itunes works, you have a connection to the Internet at the TCP/IP level. It must be your browser that is failing. A lot of different malware browser hijackers work by directing your browser to a phony hosts file, dns server, or proxie server. You probably have one. Search for your hosts file- (it will be in the system\drivers\etc folder and will have no 3 letter file type. Open it with notepad and comment out any entry except 127.0.0.x. Or just rename it. Modern systems rarely need it. Run IP config and make sure the DNS specified is the proper one for your ISP. If you don't know what the proper one is, it will be on thier website FAQ page, or you can call them. Also, check control panel/internet/connections/settings/lan settings and make sure no proxie server is specified. Once you get it seeing the internet again, download and run malwarebytes, or combofix to clean up any other residue you might have from the hijacker.
