Will DVI-I work in a DVI-D port?

Why will my ip camera not work even though i setup the port for it on my router?

  • i opened a port for my cisco ip camera on my router, and made sure the port was setup for it on my camera. im using port 1024. my router is a wireless N netgear router( one of those white ones that stand vertically). what has me all confused is when i use the ip addressed issued to me by my isp and then colon and then the port number my cameras page pulls right up as it should, but thats only within my LAN when i use my iphone and my iphone is on my network, so im not even using the ip that the router issued my camera. But when i us 3G on iphone it cant find it. When i setup remote management on my router i can use 3G and log into the router with the ip and port. ive already made sure the port im useing for my camera isnt being blocked by my ISP. so there seems to be a block in the router that will not allow connections to go through it to my camera but will allow connections to come in to itself but not any further. Any ideas? is netgear just a crappy brand cause thats not the only problem ive had with it so far?
