TIme Warner Internet HELP?

I got a new modem with Time Warner Cable and now my internet wont work when I plug it in my router. Help?

  Hi. The problem is your router was configured to work with your old modem. Each modem as its specific MAC address. You can solve this by doing 1 of 2 things. 1.) Completely roll back the router, to its default settings. This can be done by logging in the router by the admin, and look for the option that says system defaults. 2.) Go into the router basic settings when logging in the router as the admin, and change the Default MAC Address to the the new MAC Address which can be found on your new modem. Once you complete one of the two, you will have to follow the basic router installation steps which should be on the router CD. 3.) Time Warner sucks, and they will screw you over every chance they get. I have had to put up with their crap for years now, and it sucks because there isn't another high speed provider in my area except TW.
