Why can't my iTouch connect to a WiFi Connection outside my home?
-
My iTouch WiFi works fine at mt home, but whenever I go out to a restaurant, coffee house, library, etc...My itouch says that I have a full connection, but none of my internet applications work and they say that I am not connected to the internet. Why is this?

Answer:
Places like malls, etc offer wifi that requires a login to their client domain, so you have to login/register to the service beforehand, or your iPod isn't registering DNS which a hardware issue and can be fixed by Apple. Try clicking the little blue arrow on the network you're connected to, check if the DNS: value is 192.168.xx.xx or something else, if it's 192.168.x.x, it's a problem on the network's part.
