Is 4G faster than WI-Fi?

Ipod Touch 4g, connected to Wifi but no Internet is going into the Wifi Signal! Need HELP!?

• Hi everyone! so a few days ago the internet on my router was stuffing up, something to do with the DNS server! So i called up my internet provider to fix it. They managed to fix it but the wifi only works on my Laptop and computers. For all my other devices ( Ipod touch and Phone) i get the wifi signal but no internet is coming through the wifi signal. Say for my ipod, i get full wifi connectivity ( 3 bars ) but no internet is going through it. I've tried everything, forget network, reset network settings, EVERYTHING. And i know its nothing to do with my ipod because i can connect to my friends wifi fine. I'm guessing its my router and something my internet provider told me to do. Im just hoping if anyone could help me out! But yeah Thanks! :) My routers a D-Link DSL 2642B
