How to make more memory on Wii internet?

My Internet is running so slowly that I can't even watch youtube, but only when I connect wirelessly... Why?

• I just moved to a new apartment complex. At my new place the internet is included in the rent. It's a company in Tallahassee Florida called VBnet... whenever I first plugged into the internet in my bedroom, I was redirected to a page where I had to do things like look at the licensing agreement, and give my name and phone number and stuff. However, the Internet is running SOOO slowly, and I don't know why this is. I tried plugging the computer directly into the Ethernet and it worked really fast... which only confused me further, because I really didn't think that would help. Why does my router make my internet slower... I want to call my internet company, but they make it very clear that they don't advocate the use of routers (which I think is really messed up, I only use the routers on my other wireless devices that I own, like my Tivo and Wii, and it is password protected... I don't share). Can someone please tell me why it works slower with the router? It's a Brand New computer, and it worked fine with the exact same router when I was at my old apt complex, which used a Comcast, cable modem. thank you for any help you can give.   Restart your router, that might speed it up. The spped of your connection to the ISP modem will always be faster. Connection is at 100MB. Since you did not say the make & model of your router I can't tell you but most people have Type "G" which is 54MB about half the speed. Wireless is slower than wire. If you are now on DSL vs Cable it is probably slower. Run a speed test. http://www.speedtest.net
