How can I fix my xbox live connection?

Why is my xbox live connection so bad? Can anyone help me fix it?

  • Im always on the computer and Playing World of warcraft without lag. None what so ever its perfect. But when im on xbox live its terrible. My connection to my router is 4 bars green but whenever i play it is always red. I recently bought a new router to see if it fixes the problem (D-LINK) and it doesnt help. i have a windtream modem which is rather old but i dont see that being thre problem What can i do to make it so i can play without lag. of course there is gonna be some but i hate running around with 1 red bar connection(call of duty mw2) . on a last note my NAT is open i have tried to reset it but still no work. What should i do?
