How To Cap Internet Speeds On 1 Of My Pc's So My Master Pc Gets More Speed?

  • I need to cap the internet download/upload speed on a pc but i do not know how to. Is there a way of capping the speed on 1 pc and having the rest of the speed on the other pc?

    well if you have a router you need to make sure it has QOS (quality of service), but only high end router have this facility so you would need to check your router manual for this. there is some software to do QOS but never tried them.

Yes there is, but it depends on the router as well. The properties of the network adapter on each computer [advanced tab] allows you to adjust lots of options, including speed. If you change something, make a note of its previous value in case your network/router/ISP can't connect at the new setting [so you know how to change it back} Have fun!
