How should I set up my babysitting ad?

Cannot find the icon for windows ad hoc connection set up.?

• Hi, I am trying to set up an ad-hoc connection on My windows vista home premium. I can't seem to find the icon in which I try to set up a connection. It displays 4 possible ways to connect. 1) Connect to the Internet- Set up a wireless,broadband, or dial-up connection to the Internet. 2) Set up a wireless router or access pointetAet up a new wireless network for your home or small buisness. 3) Set up dial-up connection- Connect through a dial up connection to the Internet. 4) Connect to a workplace- Set up a dial up or VPN connection to your workplace. It doesn't show any thing about a computer to computer connection ( ad-hoc ) I've seen it on other peoples computers. Why won't it display on mine? I used to have an established connection using a westwll modem using the broadband connection ( 1st on the list ) With verizon. But I had disconnected my service with them because they ask for way to much. is that affecting it? And I am currently accessing the Internet from a mobile device. Not the computer. Much help would be appreciated:))
