Help needed for yahoo messenger?

One of my friends has installed yahoo messenger and send some unwanted messages to some one special to me. I searched his PC but he has uninstalled it. He tells he never installed yahoo messenger and never sent any messages to anyone. But I know its him. I need to know whether I can proof that he has installed yahoo messenger to his PC. My friend has deleted those messages and forgot the time he received, But he can remember the user name. I just want to proof, this guy has installed yahoo messenger and send some messages and uninstalled it. is there any possibility to find this. please help me.

Answer:
If you know the name used for the yahoo messenger; and the password he used, you can sign in to the yahoo messenger under his login and password and then go to Sent Mail. That will show what mail was sent from that user name!
