What does international address mean?

What does "IP address conflict" mean?

  • Recently on my Laptop, i got a message saying "There is another computer with the same IP address, please see the admin". What does this mean? and How do i fix this? I use my laptop with wi-fi to the modem and internet router. I also have 2 desktops that are connected to the same internet via wires. My laptop is a Windows 7.

    You should disconnected your comp from the network. When you reconnect your PC should be reassigned a new IP address and this should be taken care of. If you go to network places you should be able to disconnect your wifi access. by right clicking on the Icon. After it dis connects. right click again and say enable connection. This process usually will give you a new IP address. This should solve your problem.

open a command prompt... start/run/cmd type ipconfig/release then ipconfig/renew you should get another IP address, different from tho one your other computer have. otherwise check in your router's config to see how many IP address the DHCP server is assigning like from 192.168.1.10 to 192.168.1.25 should be plenty

Just restart and make sure the DHCP is set to automatically assign IP address
