  • Answer:

I had the same problem, I had to go into my graphic card settings and make a change... On yourcomputer find your Display settings, easily found in the Control Panel from the Start Menu, in all operating systems. Once in Display settings, with Windows 7, do you see "Multiple Displays" if so click the arrow down beside it choose "Duplicate these Displays" click Apply, then click Ok. You should now have display on your TV screen.

Why are you using a splitter? Are you connecting to something else as well? To get the TV to display a picture it must be in the right resolution and the right frame rate. 70Hz will not work.

Try to go to screen resolution when it's plugged in and click detect. I had to do this everytime I connect my comp to tv.
