How to get server response with netty client?

I have a VPN Site to Site made with Cisco Routers, how do I use a Proxy Server at Site A with users of site B?

  • I have configured this site to site VPN with Cisco routers (model 871) and IPSec. I have at Site A a proxy server to allow users to access a private Web Site and their browser (Internet Explrer) has being configured to use the local IP adres of this Proxy server on port 8080. This VPN is working I can ping from site B the IP of the proxy but when trying to access the Private Web Site with a client of site B (same configurations) I dont get any response. Does anybody have a suggestion? I'm not a CISCO expert so I might forgot some settings!! Thx all answers are welcome

I doubt it's a rourter configuration problem. Since you can ping the proxy from site B and the VPN is up, your routing tables are probably correct. It's much more likely that you have a security configuration issue on your private web site. Is your site restricted by IP address? Your site B systems will be on a different subnet, which may be excluded on your website's security config. It may also be a user security issue. Do your site B users have rights to the web site? It could also be a firewall issue on either of the Cisco's, blocking port 8080 between the two. Once you're sure the security settings are correct, then configuring the proxy on Site B systems should be easy (you did it for site A).
