Help with laptop problems, please?

Laptop/notebook problems, PLEASE HELP?

  • i am a teenager and i just recently recieved a pink netbook (which is a very small laptop). However, when i try to go on www.webkinz.com, something goes wrong. since my netbook is very small, the screen is smaller than an average screen, therefore everytime i try to log in my webkinz account, I CANT SEE EVERYTHING, AND SOME THINGS ARE CUT OFF ON THE BOTTOM AND SIDES. (the items on the page are too big to fit on the little screen) i think it has something to do with the resolution, but i am not quite sure. please help me or suggest something so i can solve this problem. thank you

    Hold "CTRL" and then press Minus sign (just the next key after 0) this will help u to adjust the size :)

It is the resolution of your screen from the sounds of it. Some laptops and computers have the resolution set low when they are sent out or sold to change this there are two ways one is to right click on your desktop background image and if your using windows 7 which is the newest Operating system sent out on computers you would choose personalize at the bottom of the little window that opens. in the bottom left corner you will see where it says display choose this the window will change again. then on the left upper side you will see adjust resolution choose this option. about halfway down the window you will see Resolution and it has a drop down menu that allows you to change it you will want to set the system up to a higher setting then where it is and that should help.

Try going to the video properties and change the resolution?

It sounds like your resolution is set too low to see the entire screen. If this is the case you should be able to scroll to the other sections of the page. You can fix this in your display properties, just increase your resolution, if you are already at max resolution your just going to have to live with it for this laptop.
