Why won't my laptop start up?

Why wont my laptop start up??????PLEAS HELP?

  • when i press the "on" button on my laptop,the blue light comes on but after about 10 seconds it will shut back off.....my battery is fully charged as well but i cannot get it to start..i thought i might have locked the computer or something instead of putting it on standby...if so please help......like i said the power button will turn it on(blue light) but all i get is a blank screen and it turns ight back off after a few seconds...........PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

    Unplug the power adapter from your laptop and take out the battery. Then hold the power switch down for about 15 seconds. Put the battery back in and plug in the power adapter. If that don't work, take out the battery and just use the power adapter. If it don't come on at all, your power adapter might be bad. GL.

Take out the battery and make sure all the contacts are clean. They should be cleaned with a cotton swab/Q-tip and alcohol. Reinstall the battery and charger. Try powering up. If the same problem occures then your battery is faulty. Replace the battery. This should solve the problem. Best wishes, jerry

ya u didnt lock it ur hard disk is screwed u will need a new one i have had this issue twice so far

Sorry man i've got bad news find the company that sold you the laptop..... claim waranty... it's broke you can't phiscally "locked the computer" it's impossible....
