How can you get the ip address from a wireless adaptor so you can use it? ?

i have the association but i still cant use the wireless because of the ip can recognize it for some reason i use the think vantage access connection

Answer:
Go to Start > Run > type "CMD" but without the quotes. This will bring up a command prompt. In there you will type "ipconfig" but without the quotes and this will bring up your IP configuration. You should see your Wireless IP address in there.

sounds a bit suspicous to me. the only reason you would need to know that on a wireless connection is if it has "wep" security. your wireless in your system will show connection but won't allow you to connect. sounds like you are trying to steal someone else's connection. pay for your own!!
