Why can't i connect to AIM?

I cant connect to my internet?

  • I cant connect to my internet. the weird thing is that i still can sign on my AIM and download music from limewire. I did a dignose check and it said that there was a connect. i even saw a picture diagram of the connect from my computer to the internet that my computer has. When i go to the internet is says " Internet explorer cannot display the webpage." i even tried a restore point and that worked for a while but then it went back to not working again. i have a HP Pavilian...Any suggesstions?

    You might have firewall active for IE, maybe try using firefox or other browser. If it still doesnt work, try formatting your PC =)

I have to assume you have anti virus and anti spyware software installed. As some virus and spyware can kill your internet access. So run a full system scan to detect and clear out any infections, then try again. If you cant do this because you don't have anti virus software installed then you have but one choice, as you have no Internet access. Do a full system re-install or recovery. If you have to do a full re-install then get anti virus and anti spyware installed, keep it updated, use it regularly. It's essential.
