How can I get more fans on Facebook?

  • Hello, First and foremost, I'm an actress and musician. I've done several feature films and have recorded a number of songs that have been released publicly. I've had a Facebook page for over a year now. It isn't the kind where people add you and then you approve it, it's a fan page, as in your fans simply click on "become a fan" and then they're notified of updates and such. In over a year, I've only acquired 8,739 fans, whereas on Twitter I have over 16,000 people following me. I was wondering if there's a way to promote my Facebook page; a way to make more fans aware of it. I would like to have just as many fans on Facebook as Twitter, as I post more updates on Facebook.
