Why doesn't a computer recognise a printer?

Computer Doesnt recognise wireless adapter.?

  • I have a US Robotics wireless adapter and it used to work well.But today while i was on internet and it was on it suddenly stopped working.I turned off my computer and restarted it and tried again.But still it didnt recognise that the adapter is attached to the computer.. Then I connected to my second computer and even there it doesnt recognise .. What should I do?? And what has happened to it??

Your wireless might have shorted out if you tried it on another computer and it did not work...Your best bet would be to call the manufacturer and ask them to help you trouble shoot it.

you probally need the drivers for it, google the name and make of your adapter and download the drivers for it.,

Go to start and programs, find the wireless monitor application and try starting it from there. If that doesnt work try reinstalling it. Go to device manager, find the card in the list, right click on it and scroll to uninstall. Turn it off and take the card out and install the software first. It will install the wireless monitor softawre and then tell you when to install the card. after its reinstalled, open the wireless monitor application and reconfigure it.
