How do you turn off the internet blockers?

Need help with my wifi "turn on internet connection sharing"?

  • i have a laptop with wireless in it, and when i go into "network and sharing and then "set up a connection or network" i set up a wireless ad hoc computer to computer, and when i put a network name and password on i'd click next and it would come up with details and at the bottom it would say "TURN ON INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING" and i was able to us my ipod touch and my ipod would get internet. Now i do all that but at the bottom of the page it doesn't come up with "TURN ON INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING" and i can't get on the internet with my ipod anymore. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You need to have an Ethernet (wired) connection as well as a wifi connection to do what you want. After that ICS should work.You could also download 'connectify-me' (google it) which will do the same thing for you David

for a windows go to your start menu then search Advanced sharing settings then turn it on. or if you want to use a bluetooth turn on device discovery and search from pc

I think you are suggesting that your ipod was connecting wirelessly to your laptop to get internet? That's not how it works. Point your ipod to your router (in settings). You'lluse the same wireless password your laptop used to connect to the router.
