How to share your PC internet connection with your iphone?

Use my laptop to share internet connection to my other PC using a router?

• I've done this before, but I don't remember how to do it again. I want to share an internet connection from my laptop(Vista SP1) to my other PC(XP SP3), through a router. My internet modem Ethernet Jack doesn't work anymore, so now I can only use a USB cable. But $my linksys router as we all know, doesn't have a USB jack. Tha's why I want to use my laptop as a 'server' to share internet connection to my PC. Which connection it's the one that I should share? The one coming from the USB or the one going out to the router? If I remember well, It should be the 1st one. Should I connect it to the Router Ethernet Jack or Port #1? The other computer it's on Router Port #2.

  Try a wireless lan it uses 8011.g to connect your computers This is much cheaper and faster and more reliable But the securtiy is the main issue you have to have a sercuity key also.
