Help with Bind9 dns server setup on Ubuntu?
-
Hey guys, I need help setting up a bind9 and server on Linux, could someone refer me to a good tutorial please?? Another question, can a webserver like apache run on the same computer as a bind9 server, and have the bind9 server give the apache a and name?? Thanks in advance!!

Answer:
Yes but why? Unless you have registered domain AND you have a static ip (2 at least, because most places will only register you with 2 nameservers) the bind server is not going to do you any good, unless you are just testing.
