Is there a way to fix home folder permissions remotely?

Vista advanced sharing: permissions for users on another computer?

  • I want to make it so that a shared folder is only accessible by a user on another computer on my network but when I go to Advanced Sharing > Permissions > Add > Locations... only my main computer is listed, not the other one, and so I can only add permissions for users on this computer. Any way to make it so that my other computer (running XP Home SP2 by the way) is listed in the Locations... list on my Vista machine?
