I want to connect to my broadband Internet connection automatically whenever my system starts up.

I have a broadband internet connection. Any body who clicks internet connection can connect to net. To avoid?

  • to avoid this I want to give a password for opening the net connection. Is this possible

WHEN YOU PRESS THE "DIAL" BUTTON, SEE ABOVE<<<<< FILL USERNAME AND YOUR PASSWORD.............just remove check mark from that remeber my password box if u r using any other method by clicking on web site if u r providing user name and ip address then do log out after finishing your work but i think in u r case u must have router in your home if u r ip gatway is 192.188.1.1 or 1.0 then i can guess its router so please confirm that and let me knw

USE SOME INTERNET LOCKING SOFTWARE

Yes it is possible. Go to start> Connect to> Show all connections>THEN SELECT YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION ICON> IN Network tasks click on Change setings of connection and from there change the setting as per your need.
