Your internet speed is probably 1.5mb Your wireless connection is 11mb Your router speed if connected with an ethernet cable is 100mb Your modem can likley handle 100mb so you can see that the internet speed from your provider is where the bottle neck is. DSL is the slowest follewd by cable modem then fiber (FIOS)
