How can I access my school network from my macbook?

Can school access your internet history on a different network?

• I currently use a rented laptop from school. If I am at home on my home network, can they acces my internet history and things like that? I know they can at school on their own network, but I was wondering if they could do that at home too. Thanks, Lisa

  I take it you mean, "when they take the laptop back, they can look at the saved internet history" If that's what you mean, then yes, they can. It doesn't matter what network you're on, the computer will store your internet history/cookies/etc locally (on the hard drive). So the only way to keep them from seeing it is to clear the history and cookies. From IE, go to Internet Options in Control Panel, and delete them there From Firefox, go to Tools->Clear recent history then Tools->Options->Privacy->Show Cookies->Remove all cookies
