What's a blog?

Whats the point of a blog? I just made a tumblr blog... Now what? General tumblr help too?

Hahah I think I'm missing something... I just made a blog: http://newslangyo.tumblr.com/ and I really don't get it, how do I find people? How do they find me? Besides of course telling people on like facebook or something.. Whats the point of it all? Haha I'm lost? By the way, I actually have no idea? Tell me some cool things to do etc..? Thanks? haha :)

its for fun and to have a place to meet people and share your interests. you can reblog so much stuff and if you like those peoples blogs, you can follow them and they might follow you back. http://loveeemichelle.tumblr.com/

you can find people by typing general "tags" into the search bar ofthe types of blogs that you would like to see and tumblr can be used for whatever you want to like a normal blog or just as a photo blog, audio blog etc.
