What wireless router should i go with?

I have a 2wire gateway "router"(?) from att. I'd like to go wireless. What do I need to buy?

I was think of getting something like this " http://www.google.com/products/catalog?rlz=1C1SKPM_enUS396US396&q=linksys+e4200&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=18116177753027564621&sa=X&ei=FRFfT93NIaLeiAKn_7DnBA&ved=0CK8BEPMCMAM " i just plug the ethernet cable and internet(?) cable from my 2wire to this instead of the computer right? can anyone recommend anything more affordable?

You need to get a wireless router. Laptops have wireless in them, desktop don't. Be aware that wireless is considerably slower than the cable.
