My computer says "appears to be correctly configured but the dns server is not responding" how do I fix this?!?

I recently moved and time warner came to set up a little black box and now my computer (which has a little netgear wireless adapter to get the signal from my netgear wireless box) says "your computer appears to be correctly configured but the dns server is not responding" when I clicked troubleshoot problems on my adapter. How do I fix this?! Because as of right now it shows that I get the signal but then it says server not responding.
