Is there any way to repair a water damaged phone?

Fix water damaged phone keyboard?

• so my friend dropped her cell phone in water and she asked me for help so i did the whole take the battery out and put it and the phone in a tight container with rice or something that will dry out the phone. it mostly worked except the phone's texting keyboard doesn't work. it's a sliding phone with a number keyboard on the front that does still work so is there a way to make the other one work too?

  The keyboard circuit might have been damaged and cannot be repaired. That has to be replaced by a new keyboard, if available with the manufacturer. You have to consult the manufacturer or their service centre for an immediate check.
