What do I need In a laptop for a decent gaming computer?

I need a causal gaming Computer desktop or laptop under $1000?

  • I will play mostly RTS's, some online but mostly off. Just point me in the right direction, any help appreciated.

    I personally recommend building a gaming PC, because most retailers sell PCs with no GPU, which is critical for gaming. You could buy a quad-core PC and then put in a GPU yourself. You probably want at least an ATI 4560 DDR3.

I would guess if you do a smart buy with year old parts may be 400-600 dollars
