how to create a virtual image of an existing system?

If i create a system image does that mean it will resolve all my future pc proplems?

  • without the need to instal a new windows does the system image resolve all computer proplems in future and what is the diffrent between system image and restore point what do i choose

  • Answer:

A system image will basically take a picture of what's on your hard drive so you could possibly use it at another time to recover in the event you do run into problems. I rarely have luck with using restore points once a computer is messed up. It works occasionally but most of the time, the problem isn't fixed. The image will not resolve all computer problems in the future though. You'll have something to fall back on if it crashes but nothing can prevent future problems but the person using the computer.

A system image will allow you to restore the computer to the state the computer was in when the image was taken. Which differs from a restore point in that the computer creates a new restore point every time a major change is made to the system.
