How do I hide the webcam icon?

How can i get back the lost webcam icon (built-in webcam) in Aspire one?

  • Yeah, it worked perfectly until november. When I wanted to take some pictures because i think my facebook profile picture is getting old, i was surprised, shocked, disappointed to see that the icon was gone. In the past months, i do this: Go to my computer, and press that certain icon there,,, and it will be on the webcam thing and you can take pictures. But the icon was gone. totally gone. That's the only webcam icon that i rely on to take some pictures. I tried to check if my laptop can still detect the webcam by using skype video call and yahoo "my webcam", but when i pressed the "video call" button (skype) a message box popped out saying that "Skype can't detect any webcam" and when i pressed "my webcam" (yahoo) a message box popped out saying " Sorry, No webcam was detected on your system" , i was like, "What the hell? this is built-in!!!" ,, i'm really mad about it... can anyone help me??
