What are “registry entries”, and why does a computer gradually slow down?

How can i transplant my driver registry files from a old hive to new one?

  • so i've managed to get my computer up and running again, by replacing my system registry hive with the original xp repair hive. Now none of my drivers load automatically, is there a way i can transplant the registry entries from my old hive to my new one? thanks, if anyone is having the same problems as i have been having ( check my questions ) send me a message and i'll help you

    u shouldnt be transplanting anything when it comes to windows registry overwrite with a previous backup yes but not the way ur describing it, that an u havent actually said what ur problem was in the first place.
