How can i transplant my driver registry files from a old hive to new one?

so i've managed to get my computer up and running again, by replacing my system registry hive with the original xp repair hive. Now none of my drivers load automatically, is there a way i can transplant the registry entries from my old hive to my new one? thanks, if anyone is having the same problems as i have been having ( check my questions ) send me a message and i'll help you

u shouldnt be transplanting anything when it comes to windows registry overwrite with a previous backup yes but not the way ur describing it, that an u havent actually said what ur problem was in the first place.

That seems sloppy and might cause problems in the long run. You might just want to reinstall your drives so as to minimize registry errors.
