Will pc dvd-rom software work on any computer?

my mom bought a few computer games for me amd my brother but it says pc software and i don't own a pc i have dell. will the games still work? i cant open the games and see if it will work cuz i want to know for sure and return them if they wont work THANK YOU!!!!!!!

It will work on anything that is a "Wintel" PC. Basically is any computer which runs in Intel X86 or compatible CPU, and has Microsoft Windows operating system. Particular requirements are listed on the box, as to what CPU class and speed, graphics, RAM, HDD capacites, optical drive type, and OS/DirectX versions. Dell is just one manufacturer of what are now called PCs. What is not a PC are Apple computers,and generally Linux.

Dell IS a PC, anything is a pc except apple computers. Dvd rom will only not work in a cd rom drive but cd roms are so old I think all computers in the last 8 years at least all have dvd rom drives. It will work.
