How do i get my Razer Chimera headset to work on my computer?

  • Upon purchasing this headset from www.newegg.com it was not advertised as an Xbox 360 headset. It says it is compatible with PC, however I have not been able to get it to work. I fully charged the battery and synced the headset to the stand. I went out and bought male/male audio and mic cables. I connected them to the back of the razer stand and to the back of my computer in the appropriate slots. After getting to this point, I do not know how to get the headphones to play off of my computer. I tried messing around with settings on the computer and cannot get any audio or mic feed from the headset. Please advise.
