Need help installing Age Of The Empires 2 (Read Description)?

• Alright here it is, every time I try to install Age Of The Empires 2 it always says this during the installing process : "Age of the Empires 2 Setup has encountered a disk error while writing file C:\Program Files (x86) Microsoft Games\ Age Of The Empires 2\LANGUAGE.DLL. Make sure your hard disk is not full, and that the file is not in use" I don't get it :/ The Age Of The Empires disk I have isn't new and I haven't played it in a while, it is also installed on my sister's computer. Could that be the problem? I guess my question is "HOW THE HECK DO I INSTALL IT!? I REALLY WANNA PLAY IT AGAIN DX"

• Answer:

  It's having problems writing to a folder on your hard disk. Not a read error from the CD. You're on a 64bit machine, I don't know if it'll work or not. The install may not have admin rights. Open the CD, find the setup file and right click > run as administrator. You could possibly have a failing hard drive and that spot it's trying to write to is bad. Run a chkdsk to verify this.
