What is the best graphic card now ?

HD5870 comes out later this month.

The best Single Video Card in the market right now, is the GTX 295. It is gddr3 1792mb/896mb The reason is is the best is because of its interface accompanied by Nvidia's incredible drivers. I am not a Nvidia fanboy, in fact I am the opposite. I love ATI and cannot wait for the new cards to come out later this month. But the point remains that the best card in the market today is the GTX 295. When ATI rolls out their new 5xxx series, I would hope to god that it beats a GTX 295 or what the heck have they been doing the last 9 months? However, as I do have high hopes for ATI which I will only assume they will increase the bus width of the new 5xxx series which should help out immensly, Nvidia is no slouch. I imagine ATI will roll out 1gb/512 and 2gb/512 cards with possibly a 4gb/1gb x2 card. This is what I would hope for and expect. Problem with Nvidia is they love to trump. I imagine they will come out with some crazy bus widths regarding the gddr5. 2gb/1gb GTX 380 gddr5, 4gb/2gb GTX 390.. etc something like that. The point is nothing uses gddr5 right now and will not be able to for quite a while. So it is very possible for ATI's new 2gb/512 gddr5 card to still underperform the GTX 295... such as the 4890x2. Now if they make a 5xxx x2 card making it 4gb/1gb that would trump it, but then again Nvidia is most likely comming out with something better. I really do wish the best for ATI.
