Why won't computer recognize usb device?

My computer doesn't recognize my USB device anymore?

  • Heeeey (: I have mirco sd card from my phone and i put it in the usb ... port? The usb thingy that connects to the computer...and usually it would recognize it and open up files, but this time, nothing is popping up D: I tried restarting, and waiting for the computer to fully turn on before i plug it in, but still nothing. D: Any help? I'm using Windows Vista ~

Make sure once you plug it in, click on My Computer and look for F: drive. Maybe it's just not popping up. This happend to me too lol or just give it a day or two and it'll maybe just work again, that happend to me once too.

usb ports get loose sometimes, try gently wiggle it, or another usb port.
