Keyboard doesnt work for my Hp!!!?

So i have a HP Pavilion desktop and it came packaged with a Keyboard and a mouse. Both usb wireless. My mouse works fine and but my keyboard doesnt. I tried everything, new batteries, different computer i even called HP to send me another one and this one doesn't even worK!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!! I need step by step instructions to get my keyboard running again!!!!!

Okay don't get mad, but did you turn on the keyboard? Usually a switch underneath the keyboard. Might say "on/off or "Connect".
